Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 16: BJP’s development mascot and Gujarat Chief Minister Narinder Modi wants Congress wiped off the country and the reason is not quite less strange –Congress is over a century old party and for its ‘age’ the party is not capable of handling the country.
Addressing an election rally here today where BJP has fielded one Shilpi Verma, wife of Kuldeep Verma who had allegedly committed suicide during Amarnath land row, Modi asked people to respect the martyr and vote for his wife.
A large crowd shouted “NO,NO” when the Gujarat Chief Minister, Narender Modi asked them whether 125-year old Congress lady could care for the youth in the country.
Raising his voice Modi equated the fate of Kuldeep Verma with Bhagat Singh and said after Bhagat Singh was executed his relations were not allowed to see the body before performing the last rites. He added the same situation had taken place when Kuldeep Verma achieved martyrdom while fighting against injustice. He said even Shilpi was not allowed to wail in front of her dead husband whose body had been taken away by the police.

Modi asked people that ‘You have been voting for the Congress for the last 60 years what has the Congress given to you? ”. He said Congress has given nothing to the country except poverty, unemployment and injustice. He said that as a result of anti-people policies the Congress had lost West Bengal, Karnatka, Gujarat and other states. He said vote for the BJP was vote for strong nation. He appealed to the voters of Bishnah to express their gratitude to Kuldeep Verma by casting their votes in favour of his wife, Shilpi.
