Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 16- The BJP President, Rajnath Singh, has suggested to the world leaders to examine whether nuclear weapon system with Pakistan was safe for the globe. He today posed a question to the leaders in the world to find out whether nuclear weapons with Pakistan could prove disastrous for the nations.
Talking to media men before starting another phase of poll campaign in Samba and Domana today the BJP president said that a rogue and terrorist breeding country like Pakistan could misuse the nuclear weapons when fundamentalists were enjoying the real power.
In reply to a question Rajnath Singh said time had come when India should initiate stern measures for checking cross border terrorism. He said so far India’s peace initiatives and confidence building measures were responded by Pakistan with aiding and abetting terrorism on the Indian soil. He said it was of no use for the Congress led Government to adopt a soft policy towards Pakistan.
The BJP Chief said that BJP alone had the strength to unite the entire populace of the country for fighting the menace of terrorism. He made it clear that tackling terrorism will remain a top agenda for the BJP.
Criticizing Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh for leveling false allegations against the BJP, Rajnath said during his recent tour of Jammu and Kashmir Manmohan, Singh had said that the BJP perused the politics of religion which baseless. He said the BJP stood for humanism, equality and justice for all. He said the BJP will support any right decision of the UPA Government for fighting cross border terrorism. He said it was unfortunate that as a result of weak-kneed policy of the UPA Government the Congress had not been in a position to force Pakistan to dismantle the terrorist infrastructure.
