| Karra seeks decisive mandate for PDP | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Dec17- Urging the residents of Srinagar city and its adjoining areas to elect those representatives who can do justice with their mandate, PDP leader and party candidate from Batamaloo constituency, Tariq Hameed Karra said that the people in first six phases of polling have already given mandate to the PDP, the Srinagar city must now make it decisive to ensure peace, dignity and prosperity of its inhabitants.
Addressing election rally in his constituency today ,Karra said Jammu and Kashmir has now got a strong and credible voice in the shape of PDP that would uphold the honor and dignity of its people at whatever cost. "People have given us the mandate and we would do justice with it," he said and added that the inhabitants of the Srinagar city who have faced political, emotional, social and economic exploitation all these years would now see a dignified and prosperous future ahead.
Karla said the voters of Srinagar must come out in large numbers to elect their representatives and do not allow anybody to impose dummy representatives on them. "For God sake doesn’t allow your vote to go waste and elect those representatives who would do justice with your scared mandate," he told the gathering.
Karra said, if voted to power, PDP would transform the Srinagar city's economic and infrastructural landscape, with massive investment in road communication, civic amenities; social and employment sectors.
PDP leaders Asifa Tariq also addressed the rally.
