Gear up for voters registration: Koul tells BJP workers

Jammu, Oct 10: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu District held a review meeting, which was attended by party senior leaders at the party office Kachi Chwani Jammu. Ashok Koul J&K BJP General Secretary Organization chiefly addressed the meeting which was also addressed by Former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta, BJP District President Jammu Vinay Gupta, Vice President J&K Yudhvir Sethi, Ex-President and Councillor Baldev Singh Bilowaria including District General Secretaries namely Ankush Gupta, Kuldeep Kandhari, Naresh Sharma. All the senior leaders of BJP hailing from Jammu District including BJP Councillors participated in the meeting, comprising District Office Bearers, Mandal Presidents including general Secretaries, District Morcha, District Departments, District Cells and other senior leaders.
BJP District President Vinay Gupta presided over the meeting in the esteemed presence of senior leaders.
During the meeting, Ashok koul encouraged them to speed up the process of registration of voters including new voters as well as the Jammu District in their respective Assembly constituencies falls under Jammu District. Ashok Koul asked BJP workers including Councillors to contribute to voter registration, updating of electoral Rolls and Aadhar linking going on in the JKUT the last date for the same is 25th October 2022. He instructed BJP cadres to prepare short video messages for awareness on the subject on all social media platforms. Ashok Koul compelled society at large to realize the importance of participation in the Democratic process. He said that go door to door, contact the public and especially inform the youth about the importance of voter registration.
Kavinder Gupta asked the BJP workers as well as Councillors to complete the new electoral Rolls and Aadhar linking in J&K as soon as possible in a phased manner. He said especially to make the youth aware so that and fully cooperate with them in making a new voter list. He further said that delimitation has been done, Assembly elections in J&K can be held at any time, make full preparations for it and maintain contact with the public in the interest of all domains of society.
Moreover, Vinay Gupta BJP District President Jammu Gupta said he is confident that the BJP’s welfare schemes and outreach to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes will ensure its victory in the next assembly election in J&K. He stressed party workers and Corporators to make contact with the people up to the polling booth level. He asked party workers to contact every single voter and ensure that all the public welfare schemes launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the Union government reach to the actual needy persons. He mentioned the landmark schemes of "Modi Sarkaar" that have directly benefitted the masses like Awas Yojna, Ayushmaan Bharat and so many others which have earned respect in transforming the lives of needy populations. He asked the BJP cadres of the party to reach every voter before the Assembly elections in Jammu & Kashmir.
Yudhvir Sethi also spoken in the meeting and addressed the party workers.
