Birth Anniversary celebrations of Bhagwan Gopi Nath Ji held

Jammu, Oct 10: In connection with 125th Birth Anniversary celebrations of Jagat Guru Bhagwan Gopi Nath Ji, ATTI VARISHT NAGRIK SAMMAAN DIVAS was held on 3th October 2022 at Bhagwan Gopi Nath Satsang Mandal, Amar Colony Extention, Camp Gole Gujral, Jammu to felicitate Super Senior Citizens. All the invitees were received with great honour and respect.
The Celebration was preceded by Ganpati Puja.
Veer Ji Dhar, Kashmiri Lal and Raju washed the feet of all the honourable guests and were followed by Mahalaxmi Ganjoo, Muskan, Subash Shah and P J Ganjoo to apply tilak and tying of mouli (sacred thread). Later on all the guests were honoured with garlands and a shawl by Dileep Raina, Ajay Kachroo, Girija Tiku etc., and followed by Anjili Bhat, Khanak and Moni with arti. Speaking on the occasion to welcome the guests Santosh Tiku ‘Santosh’ laid stress on the emotional connect with elderly people, they only need some time to be spent with them. Their contribution, education and teachings can never be ignored, it is because of their existence we exist. He also focused on the mother tongue by which our future generation can learn so many things with respect to culture, rituals, and traditions. Some of the invitees also shared their personal experiences with people present on the occasion. Bansi Lal Pandita also laid stress on the mother tongue which our community is loosing day by day. Roshan Lal Koul expressed his views by saying that we should focus on the present not harp about migration every time. Prof. H L Ganjoo on this moment told many good and valuable things to understand the who we are and what we have to realize our existence. Piyari Malla shared her experiences about Bhagwan Gopinath Ji which were highly received by all guests and the people present on the occasion. Kaushliya Pandita blessed everyone and was highly emotional.
Kashmiri translation of Bhagwat Gita in prose form by Anand Swami Pran Nath Bhatt Garib Bhai Ji was presented to all the invitees on behalf of Bhagwan Gopinath Ji Satsang Mandal.
