JAMMU, Oct 12: One day awareness-cum-demonstration was organized at Acharya Shri Chandra College of Medical Science & Hospital Sidhra by Civil Defence, Jammu under close supervision of Dy. SP Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. In the said awareness programme (100) Nursing Students of the College participated. During the programme knowledge about First Aid, Fire fighting, CPR and other emergency rescue methods were given by the Civil Defence experts. The main aim of the awareness programme was to make aware the students and staff members with regard to preventive measures during natural or Manmade Disaster.
On the occasion Dy. SP. Anita Pawar delivered valuable lecture on the topics of Disaster Management and highlighted the role and importance of Civil Defence organization.
Beside others Dr. Pawan Malhotra Director ASCCOM Hospial Sidhra, Dr. Indra Moza, Principal Para Medical College Sidhra Sushil Singh Charak NDA Sidhra, Paramjit Kumar Chief Warden CD Jammu, R. Vijay Magotra Dy. Chief Warden CD Jammu, Ram Dayal Saini Sub. Inspector I/ C Training and staff of Para Medical College also present on the occasion. |
