| Market checking intensified in Karnah | | |
Kupwara, Sept 16 - In order to curb black marketing, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate Karnah has constituted market-checking squads in the Sub Division.
Accordingly the market checking squad during inspection of various markets booked a dozen of traders of various markets in Karnah for violating Essential Commodities Act and received a fine of Rs. 2650/- from the erring traders. The squad also destroyed a large quantity of rotten vegetables and fruit on the spot.
The SDM is personally supervising the market checking. |
