Biometric attendance system detects impersonation, 7 teachers suspended

Jammu, Oct 13: Taking strong note of Impersonation in Biometric Attendance System (Offline), Chief Education Officer Kishtwar placed seven government school teachers, including 3 female, under suspension in Kishtwar district.
As per the order, the copy of which is available with Early Times, the order reads that “ Whereas, it has come to the notice of the undersigned that some employees after marking their biometric attendance in the morning and left the institutions and remained absconding from their legitimate duties which is a matter of great concern and invites punitive actions against the erring officials; and
Wherein, in order to inculcate the work culture besides to ensure the punctuality of teaching officials in the Goverment Institutions the undersigned taking Suo Moto of the matter and paid surprise visit in various institution of Zone Kishtwar viz. PS Mir Mohalla Malipeth, MS Malipeth, UPS Wasser Kund, MS Bagwan Mohalla, GMS Semna, GMS Sarkoot, MS Boys Sarkoot and UPS Pochhal on dated 12-10-2022 situated within the vicinity of Kishtwar Town”.
The order further stated that during the inspection and checking the punctuality of the officials through Biometric Attendance System (offline) in PS Mir Mohalla Malipeth, MS Malipeth, UPS Wasser Kund the undersigned astonished to perceive that the officials viz. Ruksana Banoo, Teacher G-II PS Mir Mohalla Malipeth, Tanveer Hussian Teacher MS Malipeth, Tehsena Banoo, Teacher Grade-II are doing impersonation in Biometric Attendance System(Offline) to manage the attendance of Imtiyaz Hussain, Teacher G-II PS Mir Mohalla Malipeth, Syed Safeer, 3rd Teacher and Zia UI Haq Master MS Malipeth and Rubina Tabassum, Teacher UPS Wasser Kund in order to provide benefit through illegal means which is matter of great concern and attracts action warranted under rules against the said officials under JKCSR.
“In light of the above mentioned facts and personal on spot observation of the undersigned it is evident enough that the above mentioned officials are involved in impersonation of the Biometric Attendance System (Offline). It is hereby order that the officials are hereby placed under suspension” the order further stated and attached in the schools indicated against ench with immediate effect.
The officials are hereby deemed to be relieved with immediate effect and directed to report their institutions shown against each viz Ruksana Banoo, Teacher G-II | PS Mir Mohalla to HS Balgran,
Imtiyaz Hussian, Teacher G-II Malipeth to HS Kuntwara, Tanveer Hussain, Teacher MS Malipeth to HS Kuntwara, Syed Saffer, 3rd Teacher to HSS Mugalmaidan, Zia UI Haq Master to HS Nagbhatna Tehsena Banoo Teacher Grade - II UPS Wasser Kund to HS Tipri & Rubina Tabassum Teacher to HSS Mugalmaidan.
