Govt Degree College Thannamandi celebrates International Girl Child Day 2022

Thanamandi, Oct 14: Women Development Cell of Govt. Degree College Thannamandi organizes Screening of Documentary “BETI” to Celebrate International Girl Child Day 2022.
The event was organized under the aegis of IQAC and overall patronage of the principal of the College, Prof. (Dr.) Farooq Ahmed. Dr. Nahim Un Nisa, Convener, Women Development Cell welcomed the dignitaries, staff and students. She presented a comprehensive but highly valued talk referring the various religious books regarding the position and respect of women/girl child in the society. Thereafter, a short documentary on “BETI” was screened to large number of audience. Syed Sahil Ali Shah Tehslidar Thannamandi was the chief guest on this occasion.
The programme was attended by large number of students, teaching and non teaching staff members. The technical sport for screening of documentary was extended by Mr. Abdul Waris Malik (HOD Computer Applications) and Mr. Mohd Latief (Lab. Assistant). The proceedings of the program were conducted by Ms. Shazia Aftab (HOD Pol. Science) and the vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Rummy Dar (HOD English).
