Congress demands urgent measures to save innocent lives în Kashmir

JAMMU, Oct 15: JKPCC in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Shri Raman Bhalla, Working President strongly condemns the killing of Shri Puran Kishan Bhat at Shopian, today and called for urgent and effective measures to save innocent lives în kashmir.
In a strongly worded statement, party condemned the killing, which în line of a series of such shocking incidents and termed the recent situation în kashmir very grim . How long the nation shall tolerate the targeted killing of innocents, especially minorities în the valley, contrary to the claims of normalcy în kashmir by the centre Govt and UT administration. It said the centre Govt. has utterly failed to ensure the safety and security of common people în kashmir, which is very unfortunate and called for urgent measures to check innocent killings în kashmir, JKPCC Working President Shri Raman Bhalla said.
He termed it as a grave failure of the home Ministry which directly deals with the law and order in the UT of J&K. He alongwith JKPCC senior leaders expressed deep sympathies with the bereaved families and demanded that the culprits should be identified and dealt sternly while seeking answer from the Home Minister Amit Shah about the series of incidents of selective and targeted killings especially of the minority community and KPs in the recent past. Why the Govt. has failed to ensure the safety and security of the innocent citizens under UT regime directly under Centre Gov, he questioned.
