JAMMU, Oct 15: Steadfast peaceful protest of All Jammu Based Reserve Category Employees for suitable comprehensive transfer policy enters 137th day at Ambedkar Chowk today. These employees requested LG Administration for redressal of their genuine demand of transfer policy. Since the LG Administration has framed a six members committee for transfer policy headed by Principal Secretary GAD to examine the transfer related issues and submit its report to government in a time bound manner. These employees are unaware whether the committee has submitted its report or not as these employees have not got any fruitful result till date.
Leader of the protest Vipen Kumar while talking to our correspondent said that they are eagerly waiting for tweet of LG to give them their Diwali gift in the form of Suitable Comprehensive Transfer Policy and their long exile of 15 years will come to an end. The employees are very sure that government is committed to redress the long pending demand of these employees.
He further reiterated that one side Divisional Commissioner Kashmir issued an order of strict enforcement of biomatric attendance of all employees, which he called a new tactic of government for forcing minority employees to resume their duties, the series of target and selective killing has not stopped in Kashmir yet. On other hand today's incident of a KP identified as Poran Krishan Bhat S/o Tarak Nath Bhat in Choudhary Gund Shopian was shot dead by the militants. If it is possible for the Divisional Administration to provide safety and security of every minority employee in Kashmir then only they can issue such orders. Kumar appeals Divisional Commissioner Kashmir to exempt Jammu Based Employees working in Kashmir from Bio matric attendance compulsion.
He further added that our pious and prominent religious festival, Deepawali is approaching ahead and many of our employees of different departments are without salary for last four months, now it is not possible for them to meet festive needs of their families. These employees have not left any stone unturned but their DDO's especially he talked about DDO'S of Rural Development Department, Forest Department, Health department and Sheep Husbandry Department who have shown very rude behavior and totally refused to release their with held salaries. Kumar on behalf of all these helpless employees appeals to L.G Administration to release their salaries before Deepawali so that these employees could celebrate this holy festival with joy and happiness with their families. AJBRCEAK demands strict action against such DDO's who are harassing these victimized minority employees.
These employees are struggling for last 137 days and demanding a suitable comprehensive transfer policy. The series of target killing has not been stopped in Kashmir so these employees are not in such a position to resume their duties and also warned the administration that they will not resume their duties untill notification for transfer policy shall not come in existence in letter and spirit.
