| Govt GLDM College holds placement drive | | |  Early Times Report
Hiranagar, Oct 15: Career counselling cell and Placement cell of Govt. GLDM Degree Degree College Hiranagar in collaboration with NIIT-IFBI conducted placement / selection drive for the relationship manager in ICICI bank with the Salary of 2.45 to 3.1 Lac per annum, here today in the college Campus. In the beginning of the drive, Dr Davinder kour Convenor of Career Counselling cell welcomed the gathering and gave a short brief about the programme. Then Rahul Sharma, Head NIIT spoke about the need for training to join a bank and interacted with the students and spoke about the changing skillets of bank employee. Dr Pragya Khanna Principal of the college lauded the efforts of the committee and thanked the team from NIIT-IFBI for conducting this Placement Drive in the College to provide students with the recruitment opportunities. Approximately 32 pass out and final year students of the college participated in the drive, where in as many as 16 students were shortlisted for the preliminary round. The shortlisted students will be tested at different levels before being absorbed as Relationship managers by ICICI Bank. Prof. Ritika member of the committee, Rahul Sharma, Head NIIT, Shakun Sharma Manager, NIIT and Diksha Thakur, Coordinator were also present. Vote of thanks was proposed by Prof. Kiran Thapa. |
