EFPO Jammu organises scintillating function to mark closing ceremony of Hindi Pakhwada

JAMMU, Oct 15: EPFO Regional Office, Jammu today organised a scintillating function to mark the closing ceremony of “Hindi Pakhwada” held from 14th September to 29th September.
Special invitees of the programme was Professor Rajni Bala, Head, Hindi Department, Jammu University, Rohit Jandiyal, Principal Correspondent, Dainik Jagran, Satnam Singh, Senior Correspondent, Dainik Jagran along with presence of Rizwan Uddin, Regional P F Commissioner – I, and Harinder Singh, RPFC – II.
The “Hindi Pakhwada” celebrations were held in all the Regional Offices of the UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, viz. RO Jammu, RO Srinagar and DO Leh (Ladakh).
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Officers and Staff of the region who participated in various activities such as ‘Vichar Pratiyogita’, ‘Nibandh Pratiyogita’, ‘Rajbhasha Pratiyogita’, ‘Tippan and Aalekhan Pratiyogita’, ‘Use of Hindi on Computer, ‘Samanya Gyan’, and ‘Vividh Prashnotri and Abhivyakti’ Pratiyogita to promote the usage of Hindi in official communications of the office.
The topics on which participants of different events presented their views included - Development Schemes and Inclusive development in Jammu and Kashmir, Flexible timing in Government Offices – Opportunities and Challenges, Challenges of depreciating rupee, Effects of Social Media and Use of online services in Government Offices.
Professor Rajni Bala addressed the Staff and Officers and appreciated the efforts put in by the EPFO to promote Hindi in its offices. She appealed to the staff to adopt Hindi in their daily official works throughout the year and not merely limit it to special occasions.
Rizwan Uddin, RPFC – I, spoke about the importance of using Hindi in all official communication and role of events such as “Hindi Pakhwada” in promoting the use of Hindi as Rajbhasha by inculcating the habit of usage of Hindi.
He took the opportunity to elaborate the relevance of such events to promote team spirit and competitiveness as the participants compete against one another. The seal of participating and winning prizes creates a vibrant atmosphere.
It provides a great opportunity to all to express their views and feelings.
Rizwan Uddin expressed satisfaction over the fact that participants from DO, Leh and RO, Kashmir also won prizes in the competitions.
The winners of the competitive programmes held during “Hindi Pakhwada-“2022 were felicitated by dignitaries present in the event.
Among the winners were Shiva Murthy , EO/AO; Sanjeev Kumar, EO/AO; Pramod Kumar Singh , EO/AO; Ankur Janghu, EO/AO; Jagpreet Singh Cheema, EO/AO; Amit Jakhmola, EO/AO; Bipin Kumar, EO/AO; Mini S, DPA; Rajan T, DPA; Pritpal Singh, ASO; Mukesh Kumar, SS; Chiranji Lal Sharma, SS; Rajander Kumar, SS; Tamilselvam, SSSA; Kanchana, SSSA; Ketan, SSSA; Arun, SSSA; Ravi, SSSA; Ritesh Kohli, SSSA; Subhash, SSSA; Raja Sekhar Dasari, SSSA; Dharmendra, SSSA and others. The winners were presented with cash awards ranging from Rs.5,000/- to Rs.1,000/- along with a certificate.
