Jammu, Oct 18: NSS unit ‘Cheshta’ of GLDM Degree College, Hiranagar conducted a cleanliness drive in the college campus under “My College My Pride”campaign.The cleanliness drive was carried out with the direction of Dr. Pragya Khanna, Principal of the College. This campaign was initiated on 13th of october, 2022.Today it was 4th activity In which a large number of NSS volunteers participated with great deal and enthusiasm. The volunteers collected different kind of waste like single use plastic, wrappers, polythene bags, garbage etc. from places in and around the campus.
The aim of this campaign is to create awareness among general masses about healthy environment and clean surroundings as also spreading the message of ‘Swachchhta’ as part of ‘Swachchh Bharat Campaign’ .
Further the whole program was organized and supervised by Prof. Rakesh Sharma NSS program officer of the College. |
