JAMMU, Oct 18: One day Awareness-cum-demonstration was organized at Army Public School Ratno Chak, Jammu by Civil Defence, Jammu under close supervision of Dy. SP Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. In the said awareness programme (1000) Students of theArmy Public School participated. Awareness about the basic knowledge of First Aid, CPR, Chocking, Fire fighting, and other Emergency rescue methods were given by the Civil Defence expert. During the programme demonstration on the above said topics were also presented by the Civil Defence team. The main aim of the awareness programme was to make aware the students and staff members with regard to preventive measures during natural or Manmade Disaster.
On the occasion Dy. SP. Anita Pawar delivered a lecture on the topics of Disaster Management and highlighted the role and importance of Civil Defence organization. Sonal Sharma Principal Army Public School highly appreciated the role of Civil Defence.
Beside others Manyata Sharma Incharge officer NCC of the Army School, Paramjit Kumar Chief Warden CD Jammu, R. Vijay Magotra Dy. Chief Warden CD Jammu, Ram Dayal Saini Sub. Inspector I/ C Training and staff member of the Army Public were also present on the occasion. |
