| Khajuria urges Jammuties to punish Congress, NC | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec18 BJP candidate from Jammu East and state party Chief Ashok Khajuria has intensified his door to door campaign in the old city area and seeking votes from the people in the name of Amarnath land agitation.
The voting will take place on December 24 in Jammu and Samba.
Khajuria visited various old mohallas along with party leaders and BJP supporters and appealed them not to divide their precious vote.
Addressing party workers after inaugurating party office in his assembly constituency Khajuria urged voters to punish Congress and National Conference. He appealed to them to come out in large numbers and take revenge from the Kashmir centric parties spearheading their anti-Jammu agenda. Khajuria said people of Jammu need to be complimented for their resolve during the Amarnath land transfer agitation. "Without peoples support the agitation would not have been successful and reached to its logical conclusion, he said at the time of voting people should unitedly vote for the party and save Jammu.
Meanwhile, BJP candidate from Gandhi Nagar Assembly constituency, Prof Nirmal Singh in his address to the party workers said that large number of women and young voters are supporting BJP and its policies. Hoping to perform formidable role in the government formation, Prof Singh said BJP is the only party in Jammu which can end decades’ long discrimination with Jammu.
