DAP Central Zonal Committee organizes meeting with several delegates

JAMMU, Oct 20: The Central Zonal Committee of Democratic Azad Party led by Ex Dy. CM Tara Chand today held a meeting with the public & delegates of RS Pura, Suchetgarh & Bishnah constituencies at Bishnah and took the agenda of the DAP to the masses. Gen Secy & former Minister RS Chib, Former Minister Dr Manohar lal Sharma, Former MLA Th. Balwan Singh, Former Minister Gharu ram choudhary, Former Minister Jugal Kishore sharma, Ex MLC Subash Gupta, Senior leader and President BAJ Advocate MK Bhardwaj, senior leader Vinod Mishra Sarpanch Badrinath Sharma,Corporators Sobat Ali, Gaurav Chopra also addressed the gathering and brought forward the agenda of the Democratic Azad Party.
While speaking Former Dy CM Tara Chand said people cannot forget the golden era of development when Ghulam Nabi Azad was Chief Minster & Union Minister. He said a large quanta of developmental projects were initiated and even completed during tenure of Azad sahib, He said creation of new districts was also gifted by then CM Azad Saab to the masses and further said Azad sahib is the only leader who is loved by all and there is no other leader of his stature in the region. Further He said Ghulam Nabi azad is always the first choice of masses as a chief Minister of J&K and requested people to support him to become the Chief Minister of J&K again.
Former Minister & DAP General Secretary, RS Chib said statehood should be restored with full legal, land & job rights to the people of Jammu & Kashmir, he further appealed delegates & the public to the wholeheartedly support Gulam Nabi Azad and assured the people that the DAP will provide a corruption free & equitable development of all areas of Jammu & Kashmir with special focus on deprived areas. He criticised the current regimes ignorance of border areas regarding all fronts of developments & their holding up of current developmental projects
Also speaking Former Minister Dr Manohar Lal Sharma said that DAP as a party will always fight for the issues of the masses and they will not show the masses pipe dreams. Dr Sharma said by diving border assembly segments of Suchetgarh, RS pura, Bishnah & Noshera-Sunderbani, the govt. has played dirty game as majority of people residing in these areas are POJK displaced, Displaced people of 1965, 1971, and others and by dividing them in different constituencies there representation will be withheld. Further he said it was during time of our previous government that a package of 25 Lacs was recommended for these people but under the central BJP government only one installment has been disbursed till date and no further progress has been achieved in disbursing pending releif for Displaced persons.
Thakur Balwan Singh said that people of j&k feel betrayed by the downgrading of the historic state and deprived of the rights to land and jobs. further he said that democratic azad party would intensify struggle for the restoration of statehood with protection of jobs and lands for the local people.
Ch Gharu Ram & Jugal Kishore sharma emphasized that DAP ID made for safeguarding the rights of the localities and once in power they will deal in time bound manner with Land, Mining , liquor & Construction mafia which under BJP regime has flourished and is in total control of outsiders , which is totally unacceptable as our people are job less, work less and outsiders are taking all the opportunities here in J&K.
While speaking Senior leader & Advocate MK Bhardwaj said that time has come to overthrow this anti people government . He said price rise is the biggest achievement of present regime and further said the common masses are living very mierable life due to sky rocketing prices of essential commodities. Also speaking EX MLC Subash gupta urged the delegates and workers of the party to strengthen the party at grass root level and also carry forward the message of chairman of the party Jenab Ghulam Nabi Azad to every nook and corner of Jammu and Kashmir. They further urged the delegates to join hands for the propagation of the policies and programmes of Azad Sahib among the common and needy persons of the State.
