Jammu, Oct 21: Recently Investiture Ceremony was held at Jodhamal Public School to felicitate its newly elected Prefect Council, for the session 2022-23.The honorable Chief Guest, Mr. J. P. Singh, IPS – Retd., Former Inspector General, along with school’s trustee, Mr Nandan Kuthiala, Director, Ms. Arati Kuthiala, Principal, Dr. Deep Khare, Vice Principal, Mrs Shefali Sanwal and the parents of the Prefect Council members were graciously escorted into the hall by the NCC candidates.
The NCC cadets of the schools displayed their skills and event commenced with a mellifluous welcome song sung by the school choir.
Thereafter, Ms. Mubeen Butt, CCA Coordinator – Sr. Wing introduced the Prefect Council members – Parthi Gupta ( Head Girl), Karmanya Wahi (Head Boy), Prachi Motiyal (Deputy Head Girl), Lakshav Singh Sambyal (Deputy Head Boy), Asmi Mahajan and Danishveer Singh ( Academic Prefects), Suhani Sharma, Akshat Dogra and Ayaan Malhotra (CCA Prefects), Nandita Mehta, Ciya Gupta and Aditya Abrol (Sports Prefect), Aanya Anand and Medansh Thusoo (Eco Prefects), Adhya Sharma and Atin Wazir (Discipline Prefect); followed by the House Prefects, Nishtha Anand and Mukul Dev Verma for Challenge House, Asfee Khan and Harshal Chawla for Discovery House, Vinisha Barala and Fozan Rahi for Enterprise House, Amishi Mahajan and Joshua Thomas Johnson for Invention House; the Neutral Vice Prefects Mitashi Arora, Anirudh Mahajan, Maahira Sharma, Naman Sharma, Manasvi Singh, Anish Arora, Sarish Jain, Shubham Singh Jaral, Prajna Gupta, Mrigank Chadha; House Prefects Vanshika Gupta, Dewang Gupta, Akshdeep Kaur, Tushar Gupta, Vironika Rajput, Dikshit Gupta, Livanya Mehta and Eklavya Mahajan.
The Principal of the School, Dr Deep Khare read the charter of duty and responsibility. The Prefect Council took the oath and pledged to accept and uphold the responsibilities and duties mentioned in the Charter.
The Chief Guest felicitated the Prefect members with sashes and badges, along with the Principal, Vice Principal, Junior School CCA Coordinator, Ms Deepali Puri. The House Prefects were felicitated by their House Masters – Mr. Ajay Kumar, Ms. Neerja Puri, Ms. Harmeet Kukkal and Ms. Aashima Sharma.
The spirit of the event was lifted by the valuable words of Mr. J. P. Singh, the Chief Guest, and Mr. Nandan Kuthiala, the Trustee of the School. The Investiture Ceremony was organised by the Ms. Mubeen Butt, CCA Coordinator – Sr. Wing,
Thereafter, the Head Girl, Head Boy, Deputy Head Girl, and Deputy Head boy addressed the gathering with their articulate speeches and shared how they envisioned to take the school to greater heights. This was followed by the National Anthem.
As the event headed towards its conclusion, everyone headed for the refreshments and photographs to capture the special moments as memories forever.
