10/23/2022 10:35:30 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, Oct 23: Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President, Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) today asserted that the youth of Jammu and Kashmir didn’t get their due share in the Rogzar Mela launched by the government. He expressed this while addressing new entrants during a programme organized by the party at its Jammu Headquarters, Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan to welcome the prominent social workers of Bishnah Constituency who joined National Conference during the aforesaid programme. Vijay Lochan, Provincial President JKNC SC Cell and Jaga Ram, Provincial Vice President SC Cell were also present.
Addressing the newly joining entrants, the senior party leader said that the central government has announced to give 75000 jobs to the youth of the country as a part of Rogzar Mela but it’s unfortunate that the J&K youth has not get even 100 jobs letters which is not even equal to the one percent. He said youth of the country are in utter chaos and frustration due to unemployment.
Rattan Lal said that the future of J&K youth is at stake in the present regime as they not seen a ray of hope for their brighter future. He said the present regime has discriminated with the youth of Jammu and Kashmir by providing only few job letters despite that fact is that the unemployment is peak at Jammu and Kashmir as the government has miserably failed to tackle unemployment which is the biggest problem the country is facing today. Referring specifically to Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory, Rattan Lal said unemployment is at peak here and the youth can clearly see how they have been plunged into darkness with a bleak future ahead under the BJP regime at the Centre running a proxy Govt in J&K through LG Manoj Sinha led UT Administration.
The senior NC leader asserted that BJP as well as its Govt has a track record of making hollow promises and raising false slogans never to be fulfilled.
He slammed the LG Administration for its failure to clear pending dues of daily wagers at least before this festive occasion of Diwali for whom the auspicious day would be a day of gloom and despair.
Meanwhile, welcoming dozens of several social activists who joined National Conference at the party headquarters, Rattan Lal asked them to carry forward the legacy of the greatest leader of J&K Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah to remain present among the people at grass roots level and address their issues and problems. He urged them to make the people aware about the secular credentials of the party and its leaders and that only NC has the potential of addressing their issues.
Those who joined the National Conference include Sat Paul, Viney Kumar, Ashwani Kumar, Balbir Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Mohinder Pal, Vinod Kumar and Vishal Bhagat.
