Jan Abhiyan: CDPO Office Inderwal conducts Awareness camp at Panchayat Bhatta

KISHTWAR, Oct 25: As a part of Jan Abhiyan, an awareness camp for children, women and AWWs on ambitious Poshan Mission and Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Abhiyan was today conducted by CDPO Office Inderwal at Panchayat Bhatta.
A number of PRI members including sarpanch and panch members, Anganwadi Workers and Helpers of the Panchayat, besides locals including Children, Pregnant and lactating women attended the
They were imparted awareness regarding the Poshan Mission, while the benefits of good nutrition for the pregnant mothers during the pregnancy were also explained.
Maintaining good food habits and consumption of essential supplements by the lactating mothers was also discussed in the program.
A number of queries were raised by the women regarding the Poshan Mission and the same were replied by the concerned officials on the spot in the camp.
The Officials of CDPO also assured to hold more awareness camps in near future in the Panchayat.
The PRI members were asked to further disseminate the information among the public.
