AKHNOOR, Oct 27: Around 19 persons sustained injuries in a road accident in Chowki Choura on Thursday.
Officials said that the accident took place when a bus JK02AX 3893 was on its way to Mendhar from Jammu. At Tungi Morh in Chowki Choura Sub Division driver lost control over the vehicle and it turned a turtle along the side of the highway.
A total of 19 people received injuries in the accident which have been taken to Accidental Hospital Chowki Choura among which 8 were further referred to SDH Akhnoor who all are under treatment there. Some have received multiple injuries.
The injured were identified as Sat Pal, Mohd Imtiyaz, Swati Sharma, Kamlesh Devi, Shakti Kumar, Sadar Din, Mukand Ram, Mahindra Nissad, Shafiq Ahmed, Mohd Asif, Geeta Devi, Mohd Imtiyaz, Jeevan Mishra, Bhupinder Singh, Nimmo Devi, Sanjay Kumar, Sapna Devi, Keshav, Abishek Nishad. |
