Kejriwal trying to befool Hindus to get votes in Gujarat elections

Chandigarh, Oct 27: The demand of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to print pictures of Hindu Gods has evoked a strong reaction from cross sections of the society.
After brazenly pursuing anti-Hindu policies, Kejriwal took a U-turn and is trying to project himself as a Hindu leader because his party is facing the wrath of the people in Gujarat.
Punjab’s Leader of the Opposition (LoP), Partap Singh Bajwa on Thursday lambasted Arvind Kejriwal for brazenly indulging in divisive agenda to attain his political ambitions.
Bajwa said by asking the union government to print pictures of Gods and Goddesses on the currency notes, Kejriwal's only aim is to establish himself as an undisputed Hindu leader just for the sake of votes and power. Bajwa said Kejriwal was also misleading the people of India that by printing pictures of Gods and Goddesses the economy of the country could be improved. “ Isn’t it shameless and brazen for a person who was once an alumnus of IIT and an IRS officer to make such a false claim which is not only unrealistic and unscientific but baseless too?”, asked Bajwa
Bajwa said the constitution of India laid out in Article 51 A (H) that the incumbent government would promote scientific temper in the society. “But look at this opportunistic Kejriwal who is misleading gullible people in the name of religion”, added Bajwa.
Bajwa said for Kejriwal displaying pictures of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar and Shaheed-E-Azam Bhagat Singh in offices was an act of mere symbolism to garner votes. “He does not believe in their thinking or ideology. While Dr. Ambedkar adopted Buddhism and showed confidence in a democratic setup, Shaheed-E-Azam Bhagat Singh was a national hero, who believed in secularism. So Kejriwal who claims to be more religious than anyone else in the country can not be a follower of these towering legends. It looks more like a pretension”, added Bajwa.
He also called upon Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann if he too agreed with his political mentor and supported the printing of pictures of Gods and Goddesses on the currency notes along with Mahatma Gandhi.
