Principal Sessions Judge Kishtwar grants bail to accused women involved in child kidnapping case

Kishtwar, Oct 31: Principal District & Session Judge today granted bail to Shabnum Begum in a much publicised case of kidnapping a minor child for the purpose of human trafficking.
As per the details available with Early Times, the court of Session Judge Kishtwar presided by Yashpal Kotwal granted interim bail to accused Shabnum Bagum today on the condition of filling of Rs. 50000 surety bonds.
Counsel for Shabnum Bagum , Advocate Safder Ali Shoket in his arguments before the court argued that neither case of kidnapping for the purpose of murder nor human trafficking is made out added that there is no provision under Indian Panal code for selling of minor child and selling of child does not come under purview of human trafficking.
Beside this Advocate Safdar Ali said that there is no exploitation of the child. Public Prosecutor Mansoor Ahmed Sheikh while in his arguments pointed out that there are sentiments of the society involved in the case and there are other links as well the the police has to investigate and pledge for dismissing of bail application of the accused women.
After hearing both State as well as Defence counsel the Hon,ble Court granted interim bail to the accused and issued notice to Superintendent District Jail Bhaderwah to release Shabnum Begum Dev D/o Bashir Ahmed Dev R/o Near Veterinary Hospital, Ward No. 8 Kishtwar & wife of Zahoor Ud Din R/o Chilli Gandow if she is not involved in any other case.
Meanwhile the senior police officials told Early Times that they will contest the bail given to accused Shabnum Begum and will move the court for cancellation of the same
