Jammu district softball championship declared open

JAMMU, Nov 2: Today District Jammu Softball Association organises District Softball Championship 2022-2023 under MY YOUTH MY PRIDE and under the aupicious of J&K Softball Association at GGM Science College, Jammu and with the directions of Chaman Lal Bhat, Sr. Vice President J&K Softball Association. Sanjay Chib Prop. Jammu Enterprises was the Guest of Honour and Waseem Raja Khan, General Secretary J&K Softball Association was Chief Guest and Dr.Vinod Bakshi, Physical Director GGM Science College was the Special Guest on the occasion.
Today in the District Championship in boys section Junior, Sub Junior and Senior teams from different regions of Jammu district participated in the Championship, in the opening match between Talab Tillo Bulls and Jhiri Softball Club, Talab Tillo Bulls beat Jhiri Softball Club by 13-1, In the second match between Cosmo Club and Rising star, Cosmo Club beat Nine Rangers by 15-5, In the third match between Jhiri Softball Club and Rising Stars, Rising star beat Jhiri Club by 11-0, In the fourth match between Nine Rangers and Ever youth, Nine Rangers beat Evergreen by 4-0, In the fifth match between Talab Tillo Bulls and Rising stars, Talab Tillo beat Rising stars by 7-1, In the sixth match between Cosmo Club and Ever youth Club, Cosmo Club beat Evergreen Club by 17-08.In girls section there are junior, Sub junior and Senior teams, Carmel Club and Cosmo Club settle at top for to play final with each other.
In the ongoing championship Talab Tillo Bulls and Cosmo Club settled at top position in their respective groups and enters into semi finals, with them Rising star and Nine rangers also fix their places for Semi's.
Others who were present on the occassion are Sudhir Singh, Secretary District Samba Softball Association, Padamdev Singh, Joint Sec. J&K Softball Association. Harvinder Singh, Madan Mohan NIC Coach & senior players, Rawat Singh, Vishal Singh and many others present on the occassion.
