SRINAGAR, Nov 2: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President and Member of Parliament from Srinagar Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah have paid glowing tributes to noted religious scholar Late Aga Syed Mehdi on his 22nd martyrdom anniversary.
In his message, Dr. Farooq said , "Shaheed Aga Syed Mehdi Sahab was a man of the masses, he commanded an erudite personality. He worked tirelessly for the socio-economic and political emancipation of people. A great son of the soil, his contribution to public life, his scholarly pursuits will continue to inspire many. On his martyrdom anniversary, I pay my tributes to him and pray to Almighty to elevate his stations in Jannat."
NC Vice President Omar Abdullah also paid glowing tributes to Aga Syed Mehdi Sahib and recollected the late leader's numerous positive contributions to public life.
