| J&K Grameen Bank organizes awareness programmes | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 3: Financial Inclusion & Insurance Department under the guidance of Sanjay Gupta, Chairman of J&K Grameen Bank in collaboration with RBI organized Awareness Programmes. The programmes were organised for the general public for making them aware about various banking facilities, frauds and other grievances redressal system of the Bank and RBI. The participants of the programme were RBI officials, JKGB Officials, General Public and local PRI members.
Rohit Kashyap, LDO, RBI and Suhai Anwar Ansari, Manager, RBI also participated in one of the programmes organised at village Gajansu and highlighted the participants about banking services, frauds and other grievances redressal systems. They also made the masses aware about the Govt Social Security Schemes and Banking Ombudsmen for redressing their complaints.
Sunil Choudhary, Head of Financial Inclusion & Insurance Department, J&K Grameen Bank also participated in the programme and highlighted that the programmes are conducted in collaboration with RBI under the theme "Main Bi Jagruk" a "Nationwide Intensive Awareness Programme" launched by RBI. He further informed the participants about the different schemes of the bank alongwith grievances redressal mechanism of the Bank.
Sarpanchs & Panchs of the villages were also present during the occasion. Also, the claims under Govt Social Security Schemes of Rs.02 lac were handed over to the nominees of the claimants.
Branch Heads of their respective Branches emphasized on various facilities of the Bank and requested all the participants to visit the bank branches to avail any type of banking services or immediate redressal regarding the same. |
