JAMMU, Nov 3: In Continuation to all round development initiated by Prime Minister of India Narinder Bhai Modi and LG Manoj Kumar Sinha of Jammu & Kashmir UT. Jammu Municipal Corporation is going to initiate a historical step towards all round development of Jammu. In this direction a new reorientation of working system has been launched by Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation in a press conference today at 11:30 AM of 02.11.2022 in the Councilors hall. In this new & historical step initiated by Mayor, a comprehensive working culture in a versatile manner has surfaced in Jammu Municipal Corporation w.e.f. today itself.
In this concern all controlling officers of Jammu Municipal Corporation from different sections has deputed their officers/officials for inspection of various development works activities going on in Jammu City. The inspection and monitoring of various works activities would be held Ward wise and twice a week in proper co-ordination with Councilors of the respective wards as desired by Mayor. A comprehensive roster for all 75 wards of JMC has been framed by controlling officers and clubbed in a way that during inspections no field of works activities left as per direction of Hon'ble Mayor. The roster accessible to the Councilors as well as officials.
This new concept of inspection and monitoring of works activities at street to street and door to door would not left the Jammuites deprived of development. This concept of Mayor has been hailed & applauded by Hon'ble Dy. Mayor and all Councilors as well as officers of Jammu Municipal Corporation.
Mayor while interacting with media persons further said that all Councilors have committed that they will work together for all round development of Jammu, keeping at bay the lines and difference if any.
While interacting with media persons in presence of Dy. Mayor B.S Bilawaria, Chairman of the Health & Sanitation Raj Kumar Tarkhan, Chairman of the Swacch Bharat Committee M.S Mankotia and Chairman of Social Justice Committee Ajay Gupta and Councilors of JMC the curiosity and strong urge of Mayor Rajinder Sharma for development in a transparent, neat & clean work culture with all round development was self speaking.
While concluding the Mayor said that he will extend his full support for hard working and upright officers and shall reward them as well. Whereas action shall follow against those who are divuldging from the pledge of honesty and integrity taken a couple of days back in Conference Hall of Jammu Municipal Corporation.
