| Hizb supports Geelani’s call for protests against blasphemy | | | Srinagar, September 16: Hizb-ul-Mujahideen here on Saturday announced support for protests against Pope’s blasphemous marks on forthcoming Monday.
Talking to KNS on phone, Hizb spokesman Junaid-ul-Islam said blasphemous remarks made by Pope Bandket against Prophet Mohammad (SAW) has hurt muslim umah across world and reflect brute frustration of the west in view of the growing influence of Islam in European countries. Announcing support for protest against Pope’s blasphemous remarks, spokesman called upon people to respond overwhelmingly to Syed Ali Shah Geelani’s call for protests on Monday.
