| Panthers accuse Radio Kashmir of bias | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 19- Prof. Bhim Singh chairman JKNPP, who is also contesting Assembly election from Jammu East constituency, has strongly condemned All India Radio (Radio Kashmir-Jammu) for misleading and spreading disinformation campaign in its news bulletins about the election activities and trends. He said that Panthers Party is the only Jammu based recognized state party, which has fielded 79 candidates. The Panthers Party is contesting all the seats in the districts of Jammu and Srinagar, which is going to polls in the final phase on December 24. It is criminal on the part of AIR to mislead the whole nation that only three parties are contesting polls in Jammu district namely Congress, BJP and NC. The Panthers Party, which is a front-runner, recognized political party is contesting election in Jammu district. AIR has deliberately eclipsed Panthers Party with ulterior motive and criminal intention. To lodge protest against the biased coverage, the party activists burnt effigy of AIR here today while hundreds of party workers including women staged a demonstration in front of All India Radio in Jammu and demanded immediate intervention of Election Commission of India.
