| Azad lauds private sector | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 20- Former Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today lauded the initiative by the private sector in generating jobs for the skilled and unskilled work force in the State, saying that this is a viable answer for checking unemployment. During his visit to various small scale industrial units like Bamba Handloom Industries, Shri Guru Nanak Industries and Harpreet Hosiery here last evening, Azad stressed the need for quality production, saying that Jammu and Kashmir does not lack in potential. He also emphasized on quality assurance of the products of the local industrial units. He appreciated the endeavours of women entrepreneurs in giving fillip to industrial sector and providing direct and indirect employment to substantial number of unemployed skilled and unskilled work force. "This needs to be sustained", he added. The former Chief Minister was accompanied by former Punjab Minister, Surinder Dawar, former Deputy Chief Minister Mangat Ram Sharma and Arwinder Singh, MLC. He was impressed by the unit while going round its various sections. Azad hailed the initiative and enterprise of women entrepreneurs like Harjinder Kour, and hoped that others would emulate this entrepreneurship
