| Ex-Punjab CM campaigns in RS Pura | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, DEC 20: Addressing election rallies at Kripind and Simbal in the R S Pura assembly constituency, former Punjab Chief Minister and presently leader of opposition in the Punjab Legislative Assembly, Mrs Rajinder Kaur Bhattal, accused the BJP of pursuing policies which have the potential of polarizing the society on communal lines and dividing the country. Campaigning for the Congress candidate and former Minister, Suman Bhagat and accompanied by Harman Das Johar, Former Speaker and Lakhvinder Singh Randhawa. She urged the people to reject outright the BJP as it has been playing with the sentiments of the people by making religious appeals. She said that the BJP has no agenda and no programme and ridiculed at its claim that it would form the next government in the state. She asserted that the BJP, which has just one legislator in the last assembly, would again be rejected by the wise people of Jammu and once again return the congress to power. She said the congress is the only party which enjoys the people's confidence across the state.
