Jammu, Nov 13: Primary wing (Classes 3 to 5) of Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu celebrated Annual sports Meet – 2022 “ Abhudaya” with zeal and ardor. Ms. Nuzhat Gul Secretary J&K Sports council was the chief guest on the occasion.
Ms. Rohini Aima, Principal cum vice –chairperson JSS welcomed the chief guest along with other dignitaries and coaches from fields of sports . Ms. Aima, focused on the theme of the day by urging everyone to be energetic by active participation in games and be a cause of other’s happiness like a rising sun.Sapling presentation as a token of regard was also done by Junior Head Boy, Jatin and Junior Head Girl, Misthi. Formal inauguration of the event was conducted by releasing balloon and lighting of torch ,depicting release of stress and igniting the spirit of sportsmanship.
The students of grade 4 presented Ganesh Vandana in alluring capacity .March past by grade 5 Sanskritians was appealing one .Oath ceremony was also organized during the program for blazing the pneuma of integrity and probity for games. Class 5 students delineated Yoga asanaas in enthralling form. Varied races were organized : Hurdle Race, Sack Race ,Relay Race, Martial Arts and Tug of war demonstrated the team spirit and courage of our sanskritians.
Ms. Harpreet singh Anand (Chairman JSS), Ms. Sunakshi Anand (Director Operations JSS, Jammu), Ms. Avneet Kour Budhraja (Vice –Principal), Ms. Prabhjot kour (Head mistress), Ms. Varuna Mangotra (superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction), Ms. Meena Bhagat (Coordinator Middle wing),Ms. Pooja Sharma wazir (Asst. coordinator primary wing) and Ms. Harmeet kour(Asst. Coordinator pre-primary wing) & Ms. Tarmeet Raina (Administrative Officer)were prominently present in the program.
Ms. Nuzhat Gul ( Secretary -J&K Sports Council), in her address applauded the talent of Sanskritians and Congratulated the Principal ,Management and sports faculty of the school for fostering the sports knack in such an elevated and lofty manner. Prominent personalities of sports world graced the occasion for encouraging our students .They were Mr. Ashok Singh (Div. Sports officer, Jammu), Ms. Kripal Singh (International Gymnastic player )Mr. Anil Sharma (Senior Incharge- International Kho-Kho), Mr. Satpat Singh (Football coach), Mr. Suraj Bhan (Chief - Judo coach), Mr. Gurcharan singh (Sr. Athletic Coach), Mr. Surya Bhanu Pratap Singh(World Champion in Wu-Shu)Ms. Rachna Jamwal (Senior Fencing Coach), Ms. Shottu lal (Fencing coach),Mr. Anil Gupta (Yoga coach), Ms. Shivani Charak (Sports Climbing- Asian Youth Medalist), Mr. Anil Kumar(Sr. Chief Boxnig Coach), Ms. Rakshanda Mehak- World Championship- (World Deaf Judo Olympic Medalist), Mr. Rakesh Singh (Deaf Judo Olympic Medalist), Mr. Vishal Khajuria (Deaf Judo Olympic Medalist), Mr. Nabil Ahmed Dhar (Deaf Judo Olympic Medalist- Gold Medalist), Mr. Meenal Gupta (Common Wealth Gold Medalist)& Ms. Riya Bakshi (Athlete Player).
Our chief Guest ,Ms. Nuzhat Gul along with Ms. Rohini Aima and other Sports dignataries felicitated the winners in different categories.
Senior wing students were also awarded by the chief guest for their magnificent and distinguished achievement under different sports category.
The Event was culminated with grand finale dance presented by grade 3 Sanskritians . Ms. Varuna Mangotra (superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction) presented vote of thanks for well- ordered and fantastic conduct of today’s event Annual Sports Meet pinnacled with National Anthem. |
