BLSKS presents musical play on Nasha Mukt Bharat at Tiny Tots school

JAMMU, Nov 15: In continuous to the Nasha Mukat Bharat Abhiyan, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan, in coordination with Ministry of Social Justice and empowerment, Government of India, Social Welfare Deptt. J&K Govt. and Sangam Tru Art Production presented mega Cultural program and administrative pledge ceremony on Nasha Mukat Bharat Abhiyaan, at Tiny Tots Hr. Sec School, Jammu on 349th Tuesday Series Dogri Musical Play "Nashe Kola Bacho" as a part of the this Abhiyan. More than 250 students and teachers participated & pledge recited by the M.C.Kotwal Secretary of BLSKS and Certificate honored by the Ministry of Social Justice was felicitated to the Principal of the Host School. The prior to this programe was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Smt.Deepali Handa, Principal, Tiny Tots Hr. Sec. School, Roop Nagar Jammu. Among the guest of honors were present on the occasion, Mohit Gupta, Shivani Raina, Neha, senior staff of the host school. The day commemorated as well with sole aim of rejuvenating the traditional, Primitive Folk, Art, Culture of J&K Region particular and Indian. The Specially items prepared on the theme "Bacho Bacho Tobacoo Kola Bacho", "Nai Pee Shraban", "Bari Kharab Chutki, "Nasha Nai Kario Munde Kureio, "Mera Karma tu Mera Dharma tu", "Ajj Gali Gali Aur Gaoun goun Mai sabne Azam Uthaya Hai," Swatch Bharat Ka lrada Karliya Humne", Nukkad, Skits, Songs and Dances were presented to aware the masses.The Chief Guest Deepali Handa, appreciated the efforts of Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan for such awareness programe and we have come together to strengthen our determination against drug abuse in any form and to send a message to the world that India will leave no stone unturned to fight against this evil and lauded the efforts of the organizers in making such awareness programmes colorful and effective. The artist of BLSKS presented theme based songs which were written by Dr.M.L.Dogra & the music was the programe was assisted by Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor, BLSKS. The program was also recorded & uploaded online on Social Media for benefit of the peoples.
Welcome speech was given by Dr. M.L.Dogra, Chairman, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan said this Abhiyaan has been valiantly fighting against the baleful repercussions of substance abuse at the ground level with the support of Education help and several events. It has been evident that mental health disorders need to be addressed to build a healthy society that contributes to the national growth and development. Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan is an efficacious attempt to fight against substance abuse and raise awareness for healthy lifestyles, I hope and pray that this programs will be fruitful and Bharat will be a No.1 drug free country, It possible we all would like to take part in this Abhiyaan as a volunteer. The current statistics on the rise in suicides and mental health issues has led the government to take the much required action for drug demand reduction. Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, the flagship campaign of the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment is an initiative in this stride. Today we are united to take a pledge under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan to make not only our community, family, friends but ourselves drug free because change starts from within, so pledge together to make India Drug Free. lt can be a very strong initiative to combat the menace of drug addiction. Strong campaigning and public participation are of immense importance.
Rajni Gupta,Troupe Leader BLSKS said substance abuse refers to the harmful use of psychoactive substances including alcohol and illicit drugs. It is like a fatal virus targeting our young generation. Drug Addiction is also emerging to be a serious concern in the country, especially among the younger generation leading to dangerous consequences. Drug abuse has increased the crime rate and had an overall detrimental impact on society. Prevention has proven to be the most effective strategy to counter this problem. To combat this menace among youth and make India free of drugs. The singers, musician and actors who performed were Usha Raina, Rahul Kumar, Mukesh Singh, Sunil Kumar Dalotra, Sahil Kumar. Deepak Kumar Dogra, Programe Incharge, presented vote of thanks for successful conduction of the program.
