Janak cautions people against BJP designs

JAMMU, DEC 20: Senior Congress leader and former MP Janak Raj Gupta has cautioned the people of the state to be aware of the opportunistic tactics of BJP and defeat them for the unity and integrity of the state as a whole.
Addressing series of election rallies at Cakroa, Dablad, Kalyani, Biaspur, Parloi and R S Pura seeking votes for the party candidates, Suman Bhagat and Ch. Gharu Ram, Gupta said that both BJP and NC were indulging in opportunistic politics with sole motive to woe voters to gain power which can well be understood by the fact that the leaders of both the parties try to divide the people of on religious and regional basis.
Former Minister B R Kundal, while addressing criticizing NC said that their non-serious approach can be well assessed by the fact that no development worth the name took place across Jammu and Kashmir State for decades together. Their (NC's) self centered approach was solely responsible for the plight of Jammu and asked the people to defeat those political forces which have failed to deliver for the betterment of the state and its state. He said that the development witnessed during Azad led government was many times more than one witnessed during last 60 years.
Prof Hari Om in his address maintained that forming of government was a 'day dream for the BJP and said that the divisive slogans of BJP and NC proved that they are the two faces of the same coin.
Deputy Chairman Legislative Council and congress leader Arvind Singh Micky who also addressed these gatherings reminded the people about the achievements made on different sectors during the 32 month rule of Azad led Congress government.
Among others who also addressed include Om Chopra, Kirtan Singh, Vaid Parkash Bhagat, Raj Kumar Sharma, Darshan Anand, Santosh Mangotra, Lala Bansi Lal Gupta, Anoop Khajuria, Babu Hand Raj, Aijaz Ahmed Banihali, V K Sethi, Harjeet Singh and Suresh Bagotra
