BJP's lust for power will prove its waterloo: Harsh

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 15: While the educated unemployed youth, the under-employed, the contractuals and daily rated workers continue to languish on the roads, the BJP leadership was busy trumpeting its often parroted slogan of achieving 50+ seats in the Assembly elections. Rather than addressing the issues of the agitating youth and of other aggrieved sections of society, the saffron brigade continued with propagation of its political philosophy quite unmindful of the sufferings of the teeming millions in J&K. Having lost the art of conversation and the sensitivity to appreciate the woes of the common masses, the BJP govt and its proxies in J&K seemed to be completely obsessed with the idea of retaining power in the troubled UT by hook or crook. This was stated by Harsh Dev Singh, Former Minister and senior AAP leader today in a press conference after inducting dozens of Students in AAP who were introduced by Raj Pratap Singh a student leader of Law College.
Maintaining that the BJP govt had dithered in fulfilling its promises on employment and curbing inflation, Singh said that the youth was the most disappointed lot under the present regime with unemployment rate having risen substantially in J&K during the last few years. The govt and private sectors had miserably failed to accommodate the ever increasing number of Job seekers giving rise to simmering discontent amongst the educated youth. And to add fuel to the fire, the BJP leaders were issuing vague, nauseating statements only to mislead the aspiring youth.
Raj Pratap Singh said that the thought process and conduct of BJP militates against its pro youth rhetoric adding that its only objective was to attain power by hook or crook. He cautioned that BJP's lust for power would eventually prove its waterloo at the hustings.
Prominent among those who joined AAP included Mohit Mankotia, Harun Khan, Gyan Singh, Tanishq Thakur, Kewal Kumar, Pranav Dhoi, Bhanu Bhardwaj, Anish Singh, Aryan Sharma, Dhrumil Dhruv Thakur, Mohd Farooq, Arnav Sharma, Ajay Singh, Dinesh Balwal, Anish Rakwal, Sahil Singh, Sujal Verma, Satpaul Singh besides others.
