Jammu, Nov 15: Sachika Kohli (Class X) of Delhi Public School Jammu bagged the coveted 3rd position and a cash prize of Rs. 20,000/- in Category-B in State Level Painting Competition on ‘Energy Conservation’ organized by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, Govt. of India held on 14th Nov. 2022 at NHPC Ltd. Jammu.
Around 100 students from J&K U.T had participated in the said competition, out of which Sachika stood 3rd in the senior level category-B. She has also been selected for the National Level Painting Competition to be held later.
Another student, Drishti Singh (Class VII) won consolation prize of Rs. 7500/- in junior level Category-A in the same event. Both the students have also received Certificates of Merit.
Principal-DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated both the students and their teacher in charge, Mr. Suresh Kumar Sharma and encouraged them to persist in their efforts.
Hon’ble President-RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Hon’ble PVC, Dr. Kuwarani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon’ble Director, Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji extended their best wishes to both the students and their parents and wished them success for their future endeavours. |
