GLDM GDC Hiranagar organises lecture on Relevance of teaching of Swami Vivekananda

Hiranagar, Nov 15: Girdhari Lal Dogra Memorial Govt. Degree College Hiranagar organised a lecture on Relevance of teaching of Swami Vivekananda here today at GLDM GDC Hiranagar.The resource person of the lecture was Shri Manas Bhattacharjee, Sangathak Vivekanand Kendra Kanyakumari Delhi branch who spoke on the topic “Relevance of teaching of Swami Vivekananda. The Chief Guest on the occasion was by Dr. P.S.Pathania, Former Registrar,Jammu University.
The resource person in his address described in details about the contribution of Swami Vivekananda.He also shared the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda.He motivated the students to apply the thoughts of Swami ji. After the lecture of Shri Manas Bhattacharjee,The chief guest of the program Dr.P.S.Pathania also shared his views.Shri RL Kalia,BDC Chairman also talked on the contribution of Swami Vivekananda.Dr Rajesh Sharma,Head Department of Mathematics also shared his thoughts and motivated students.
The programme began with a welcome address presented by Dr. Arun Kumar Head, Department of Sociology of the college.
The webinar was attended by the students, teachers and music lovers from across the nation. Many participants discussed and shared their views about the series. Those who attended the lecture were Prof.Sujat Khan (incharge Principal),Prof.Gurdyal,Dr. Rajesh Sharma,Dr.Davinder Kaur, Prof. Manjot Singh, Dr.JyotiRani, Dr. Arun Kumar, Prof. KiranThapa, Mr. VikramJamwal, Dr. Mukesh Kumar,Dr Bhupendra Singh and Dr.Ravinder Singh from Govt. GLDM Degree College, Hiranagar. At the end of the lecture Dr. Arun Kumar, Head, Department of Music of the college presented the formal vote of thanks. The programme was organised in the consultation and support of Dr.PragyaKhanna, Principal of the college.
