Army Public School Damana organizes Felicitation Ceremony

Jammu, Nov 15: “All the dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them” Army Public School Damana organized Felicitation Ceremony to acknowledge and applaud the achievements of the students who have made their names engraved in the category of achievers and excelled in class XII and X CBSE Board Examination (2021-22). The event was organized in the newly inaugurated Multi-Purpose Hall of the school on 15 November 2022. Brig R.N. Tewari, Chairman APS Damana was the Chief Guest on the occasion whereas Mrs Bhawna Tewari, Chairperson FWO Chenab Brigade was the Guest of Honour.
The main aim of the ceremony was to enhance the morale of the students & teachers and to give recognition to their commendable hard work and dedication. The event commenced with lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour along with Principal and Vice Principal of the school. The school choir enthralled the gathering with its mellifluous welcome song. The school toppers of class XII and X were bestowed with Cash Incentives as recognition of their remarkable efforts. Neena Choudhary (XII) was bestowed with Cash Incentive of Rs 10000 for being the overall School Topper with 98.2% in CBSE Class XII Board Results whereas Aadish Zutshi (X) was awarded with cash Incentive of Rs 5000 for securing 98.6% in class X CBSE Board Examination 2020-21. The students who have scored 90% and above marks were also awarded. Brig R.N Tewari, Chairman APS Damana applauded the meritorious students and teachers for their glorious achievements and motivated them to transform the education system in their own little ways. Mrs Pushpinder Kaur, Principal APS Damana urged the students to stay focused about their aims and goals and always implement their creative ideas in an interesting and experiential way. Mrs Shallu Kapoor, Vice-Principal of the school congratulated the students and teachers for their achievements and motivated them to keep up the same in their future endeavours. The event concluded with Vote of thanks followed by singing of National Anthem.
