DC Reasi presides over weekly Block Diwas at Panchayat Bhambla

REASI, Nov 16: Deputy Commissioner, Reasi, Babila Rakwal today visited Panchyat Bhambla Block Pouni and listened to public issues and demands at the weekly Block Diwas programme.
The PRIs, prominent citizens projected a host of issues demanding Playground levelling work at W. No. 10, addressing Water problem at w. No. 10, early tendering of JJM projects, Payment of compensation of land acquired for Jammu-Poonch National Highway project, replacement of old PHE motors at ward. No. 1, addressing the problem of Monkey menace, enhancing rate of milk, upgrading of Govt Middle Schools as model schools, Blacktopping Bhambla chowk of road, provision of X Ray machine at PHC Bhambla etc.
District Officers apprised the participants regarding various steps taken by their departments for solving their issues. DDC Reasi appealed to Panchayat representatives to work in tandem with the line department for effective execution and monitoring of the schemes in the larger public interest. She further appealed to the PRIs to focus on meeting sanitation needs of their Panchayat by constructing Soakage/Composed pits under MGNREGA and Swach Bharat Mission Gramin. The Block Diwas was attended by CHO, Brij Vallabh; CEO Sunita Bali; CAHO, DSHO, LMO, Tehsildar Pouni, BDO and a large number of PRI members of Block Thakrakote.
