DIC organises workshops on New Central Sector Turnover, Incentive Schemes

JAMMU, Nov 16: In pursuant to the instructions of the Director General, Industries and Commerce, District Industry Centre Jammu today conducted two workshops-cum-awareness camps for registrations under the New Central Sector Scheme and processing of incentives viz, working capital interest subvention (WCIS) and turnover incentives, here at BBIA Bhawan SIDCO Industrial Complex Bari-Brahmans and Association of Small Scale Industrial Bhawan Gangyal Jammu.
Two teams of the Industries and Commerce Department, headed by Functional Managers, Dr. Komal Sharma and Dr. Sunaina Sharma imparted awareness to the registered units about the New Central Sector Scheme through PPT presentation. A Live Demonstration was also given for registration through Web Portal, on spot grievance redressal and on spot processing of incentives under NCSS and turnover incentive scheme -2021 under the overall supervision of Virender Kumar Manyal General Manager, District Industries Centre, Jammu.
Rajesh Jain, President, Association of Industries, Gangyal and Lalit Mahajan, President BBIA along with representatives from more than 80 unit holders participated in the twin awareness Programmes and put forward their issues regarding registration and claims which were resolved by the teams of the DIC Jammu.
The entrepreneurs expressed gratitude towards the Department for its cooperation and conveyed sincere thanks for providing such facilities at Industrial Estates. Moreover, GM DIC Jammu appealed to the Unit Holders to come forward and participate in more such events to be organized in near future to make the Government Schemes a success.
