JKAACL hosts inter college talent hunt competition

RAJOURI, Nov 16: After completing the Talent Hunt activity at Panchayat and Zonal Level, Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art Culture and Languages Rajouri, in collaboration with School Education department, organised an inter college Talent Hunt competition here at Himalayan Supper School Dhangri.
The event witnessed Singing and Painting contests. Students from all government and private colleges were invited for competition. Around 22 students participated in each category.
The painting and singing experts invited for selection of the for district level competition were Gafoor Ahmad, H/M Parran Dungi; Mohinder Pal, Physical Master Government Boys Hr Secondary School Rajouri; Shahzad Ahmad, Tr.MS Gurdan-Pain and Dr Alamdar Adam Cultural officer JKAACL Rajouri Poonch.
Javeria Khan from GDC Than Mandi, Sadiqa Fatima from PG College Rajouri, Samreena Wajib from HEM Degree College, Afsana Koser from SVS women College Rajouri and Shehnaz Akhter from GDC Budhal were selected in painting competition.
Similarly, Priya Jamwal from GDC Budhal, Chahat Bharti from HEM Degree College Rajouri, Mohammad Shabir from GDC Kotranka, Mohammad Yassir from GDC Thanna Mandi and Irfan Ahmed from PG College Rajouri were selected in the Singing Competition. Dr Alamdar Adam Cultural officer JKAACL Rajouri Poonch, in his address, threw light on the importance of literary and cultural activities.
"This is a highly encouraging step of JK LG Administration towards promotion of youth of Jammu and Kashmir, especially those from Peer Panjal Region. At the end, he thanked all Government and private colleges for their participation and great concern especially Himalayan Supper School Dhangri for their all time logistic support.
