11/16/2022 10:35:19 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 16: Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta on Wednesday asserted that come what may, the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi won't allow anyone to vitiate peace in the Union Territory of J&K.
Referring to the reports of terrorist organizations threatening media fraternity in Valley, the BJP stalwart said that perplexed by the effective peace initiatives by the Modi Government which have successfully restored normalcy across the length and breadth of J&K, the enemies of peace have now started targeting the fourth pillar of the democracy by challenging their domain and through series of threats. He said that government led by PM Modi will not allow such mechanizations of the terror mongers to intimidate the media fraternity as soon the security forces will hunt down those violence mongers who have committed this crime ahead of Press Freedom Day. He said that Modi Government believes in the freedom of press and any entity especially terrorists will have to face the law of the land for fiddling with the freedom of media whether print or electronic. He said that peace and progress in the UT of J&K is now inevitable as the Prime Minister Modi holds special affinity towards this part of the country and he has categorically directed all the stakeholders to ensure normalcy as soon as possible. He said that the days of terrorists are numbered now and those involved in issuing such kind of threats to media persons should keep in mind that security forces will soon caught hold of them to send them to dungeons.
Kavinder said that the threat given by the terrorists to the media fraternity has been taken as very seriously by the administration and already the hunt for the culprits is on. He said that sooner than later these terror mongers will be behind the bars or shall be eliminated to teach a lesson and deter others from indulging in such kind of misadventures.
