| Militancy ebbed under Azad regime: Chib | | |
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, DEC 20; The MLC and senior Congress leader R S Chib accompanied by party candidate for R S Pura assembly constituency, Suman Lata Bhagat addresses series of election rallies at various places in the area.
While addressing Chib said, the graph of militancy during G N Azad led govt came down to zero, beside state witnessed rapid progress as for as development is concern in the state. He sai congress party stands for peace, prosperity and stability, and does not believe in hollow slogans.
Chib reminded the people of R S Pura that it is due to the foresightedness of Azad govt many degree colleges including one at R S Pura has been established. He said that apart from opening of new colleges many schools have been upgraded and tremendous progress has been made in the road, health and power sectors.
Those who spoke in these meetings included Rajinder Singh, Raj Kumar Gupta, G L Sharma, Desraj Tyagi, Garib Dass, Jagbir Singh and Sham Lal etc.
