DDC Rajouri reviews action taken on Public issues, grievances

RAJOURI, Nov 19: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to discuss the public issues and demands raised during the public outreach camp held recently at Darhal.
Among the others present during the meeting were ADDC, Pawan Kumar; DDC Member Darhal, Iqbal Malik; DFO Rajouri, Arshdeep Singh; ADC Rajouri, Sachin Dev Singh; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; CEO RDA, Vivek Puri; CEO Education, Shailash Kumari; DMO, Nasseb Bajrang; CHO, Madan Lal; Tehsildar Darhal Sarpanches and panches.
During the meeting, the DDC took a detailed action taken report regarding the issues raised during the public outreach camp at Darhal wherein the concerned officers briefed about the same.
The issues discussed during the meeting were start of work on GDC Darhal, forest issues, construction of road from Chowkian to Sarotha, road from SDH Darhal to Dhara via sagrawat, dilapidated condition of road from Darhal to Kassia, road from Darhal to Simli, completion of work on PWD Dak Bunglow at Darhal; speedy implementation of JJM, shortage of electricity transformers etc.
While addressing the meeting, the DDC reiterated that the District Administration is making tireless efforts to solve the difficulties of the public and making services and welfare schemes easily accessible to them so that they don’t face any inconveniences.
Stating that the role of Public representatives is imperative in the developmental process, he also appealed to them to work side by side with the District Administration and keep a close eye on the developmental activities being carried out in their areas.
Referring to the tourism potential of Darhal block, the DDC said that the District Administration is focused on exploring the full potential of Darhal block and concrete measures are being taken in this regard.
While addressing the issues and demands of the general public, he also exhorted the officers to take immediate measures to mitigate the problems of the people highlighted during the meeting.
He also advised the concerned officers to be proactive while dealing with the public demands and issues and take best possible steps to ensure that all genuine grievances are redressed in a time bound manner.
