HINDI NAV LEKHAK SHIVIR inaugurated

Jammu, Nov 20: A eight days HINDITAR BHASHI HINDI NAV LEKHAK SHIVIR was inaugurated at M. A. M College Jammu which is being organized by Central Hindi Directorate, Ministry of Higher Education, Government of India , New Delhi in collaboration with Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samiti, Jammu.
The inaugural function was presided over by Prof. Lalit Magotra, President Dogri Sanstha Jammu whereas welcome address was given by Prof. Surinder Sharma, Principal M.A.M. College. Prof. Bharat Bhushan Sharma, Secretary Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samiti, Jammu, who has made camp concept presented the details of different programs to be undertaken during the camp.
Nathu Lal, Assistant Director, Central Hindi Directorate while speaking on the occasion gave detailed account of activities of Directorate. He said that such camps are organized with sole purpose of dissemination of national Language in non-Hindi speaking regions. The camp is coordinated by Prof. Sanjay Samyal.
The camp will have prominent writers like Dr. P.A. Radhakrishnan from Kerala, Dr. Kanhaiyalal Bhatt from Ahmedabad and Dr. Adarsh Prakash from Udhampur as the experts whereas six local litterateurs Prof. Rajkumar Ex-Head of Department, Hindi Department Jammu University, S. Pritpal Singh , an eminent poet, Prof. Veena Gupta well known linguistic in Dogri, Dr. Arvinder Singh ‘Amn’, Additional Secretary Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Rajeshwar Singh ’Raju’, eminent English, Hindi and Dogri writer and Prof. Sanjay Samyal will also interact with the participants om different genres of literature. The camp is attended by many aspiring talents and will conclude on 27th November 2022.
On this occasion, special Edition of AMAR SETU, a quarterly magazine published by Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samiti, Jammu was also released. In his presidential address Prof. Lalit Magotra said that such camps do inspire the local talent to come ahead and work in national language also in addition to mother tongue. He further complemented Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samiti for regular publication of AMAR SETU, a magazine dedicated to language, Literature and Research.
