Jammu, Nov 20: The Jammu & Kashmir lost another son of soil and a prominent citizen, social activist and industrialist Vijay Aggarwal who expired due to sudden cardiac arrest on 19th Nov.2022
Starting at a very young age he rose to become a successful businessman as well as a great philanthropist. During his lifetime he donned many hats and performed many charitable duties selflessly.
To mention few of his achievements he remained: President of Chamber of Commerce & Industries Jammu, President of BariBrahmna Industries Association, President Aggarwal Dharamshala Jammu, Director J&K Bank Limited, Director SIDCO and SICOP, At present he was serving as President Association of Industries Samba.
He was profoundly involved in spiritual and religious activities besides being the trustee and member managing committee of Swami Harigiri Hospital, Shree Rajeshwaranand Nursing & training Institute Kakira Himachal Pradesh and allied Institutes and Ashrams. He is now survived by his wife, two sons and grandchildren. He would always be remembered as an inspiration for friends and generations to come. |
