| NSS GGM Science College Jammu distributes warm clothes in the slum | | |

Jammu, Nov 21: NSS GGM Science College Jammu under the patronage of worthy Principal Dr. Rajesh Gupta and guidance of NSS PO Dr. Deepali Mahajan organized warm cloth distribution drive in the adopted Slum Area Kalika Colony under the aegis of Azadi ka amrut Mahotsav. NSS volunteers collected warm clothes packed them and distributed them on the onset of winter season. Clothes were sorted out according to size, gender and type and then washed and ironed. Such events are an eye-opener for students, teaching them the most important lesson of education i.e developing the feelings of empathy and responsibility. The smiles, affection and the positivity of the people made us believe none should be left out in our society. The students distributed chips and juices to the children. The kind efforts were much appreciated by people of the slum believing in the belief of NSS Not me But You !! NSS volunteers enthusiastically with zeal participated in the cloth distribution drive
