Kavinder calls on MoS Heavy Industries, seeks rail coach industry for Jammu

JAMMU, Nov 22: Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta on Tuesday called on Krishan Pal Gurjar MoS Power and Heavy Industries and urged him to establish rail coach industry in Jammu region to provide the much needed boost to the small scale industry.
The senior functionary of BJP apprised the union minister about the situation of unemployment in the UT of J&K and urged for taking out of the box initiatives to tackle the problem as the successive governments in the past never gave any attention towards this vital issue rather dynastic politics remained their priority. He said that hundreds of jobs can be created by establishing a rail coach industry in Jammu region, which is the need of the hour. Kavinder urged the Union Minister to look into the matter on priority as unemployment surge in the UT of J&K has crossed alarming levels and it has become necessary to take steps on war footing to combat joblessness in J&K.
The Union MoS Power and Heavy Industries after going through the points raised by the former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta assured to ponder on the issue and also discuss the viability of the same as far as technicalities are concerned. He gave a positive response and assured that soon he will let Kavinder Gupta know about the outcome of today’s discussion over the issue of establishing a rail coach industry in Jammu region.
