| DDC reviews physical, financial status of RDD works under District Capex Budget | | |

RAJOURI, Nov 22: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to review the progress of the RDD sector works under District Capex Budget 2022-23. During the meeting, the DDC took a comprehensive review of the physical and financial progress, while concerned BDOs briefed the meeting about to date status. It was informed that out of 3786 works as many as 451 are complete in all respects, while work was in progress on others. Taking note of low expenditure, the DDC asked the concerned officers to achieve the financial targets within the shortest possible time. The DDC also directed them to complete all the works within the already set deadlines while adhering to the quality parameters to meet the developmental expectations of the rural population. He also emphasized that endeavor must be to achieve targets in full and urged all the officers of RDD to work with added zeal and dedication so that works approved under District Capex Budget are physically and financially completed in current financial year. Meanwhile, the DDC also reviewed the solid waste management measures taken in rural areas. He asked the officers to put in place added efforts for the effective management of solid waste in rural areas. Among the others present in the meeting were ADDC, Pawan Kumar; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; ACD, Vijay Kumar; ExEn REW, AD Planning, Mohd Rafi and BDOs. |
