Pak warned again
11/23/2022 11:15:53 PM
Recently, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command, Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi stated that around 300 terrorists are present in Jammu and Kashmir, while 160 others are waiting on the launch pads for an opportunity to sneak into this side from across the Line of Control (LoC) in Pakistan.
His assertion made it clear that Pakistan is not ready to relent. It wants to keep on sending terrorists into Jammu and Kashmir to keep the conflict alive. The GOC Northern Command asserted that the security situation in J&K has undergone a major change after the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019 and terrorist activities have been controlled to a large extent.
He spoke about the preparedness of Indian Army to tackle the terrorism. He reiterated that the Indian Army is ready to reclaim Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) and whenever the government directs the Army to march it will be done.
Assertions of Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi is warning to Pakistan and the terrorist bosses sitting across the Line of Control (LoC). The Northern Army Commander has made it clear that the Army is aware about the number oif terrorists waiting to sneak in and it being prepared to cross the LoC to dismantle the terror infrastructure and reclaim the part of J&K which is under the illegal occupation of Pakistan.
For the past three decades Pakistan has been fighting a proxy war in J&K but it has failed on all the fronts as the terrorists sponsored by it have been given a befitting reply.
After August 5, 2019—when the Centre announced its decision to abrogate J&K’s special status and bifurcated it into two Union Territories, the security situation in the UT has improved as the security forces have successfully wiped out the terror eco-system and has acted tough against the terrorist supporters.
During the past three years support for the terrorists has dwindled as the people in Kashmir have turned their back towards them. A common man has realized that Pakistan doesn’t want him to progress and wants uncertainty and chaos to prevail. India has lost patience and the dispensation led by Prime Minister Modi is waiting for the right time to give marching orders to the Army as the consensus has already been built in the country that the time has come to end terrorism once for all.
